Live from Manuel Antonio Costa Rica its....???? NFC Beast Week 16 E-mail

  • Dallas Cowboys

  • Philadelphia Eagles

  • Washington Redskins
  • That's right. My dedication to this blog runs so deep within my soul that I am doing my NFC Beast picks from all the way in Central America! So despite my 2-1 week 2 weeks ago (sorry school work took up my entire previous weekend hence no picks) , I now provide to you my week 16 pearls of widsom so that you may bet against them and assure yourself of a positive net earnings for your football Sunday. Without further adieu........

    3) Philadelphia Eagles (10-4) (-7) vs. The Denver Broncos (8-6)- I hate you Philadelphia Eagles, but G-d damn it I respect you. I know that is one of the more over-quoted movie lines but it fits here. It is agonizing watching your bitter rival embarass you in 4 straight games, 3 of which were at your house. However, this Eagle team is even better than its impressive 10-4 record suggests. It has a nearly flawless offense and a good although somewhat undersized defense. No way Denver, who is quietly 2-6 after its 6-0 start,  pulls this one off in the Illadelph. Philly cruises to the win and goes on its merry way to a 2 seed. THE PICK: EAGLES 31-13

    2) Dallas Cowboys (9-5) at Washington Redskins (4-10) (+7)- Maybe it is wishful thinking that the Skins will be so embarassed by its sickeningly piss poor performance against my Giants that it will show up against its most hated rival. The Skins always play the Bois tough and I hope this game is no different. I am trying to be objective but I just have a feeling Dallas's win against the Saints was more of a omen of things to come for the Saints than it was a sign that Dallas is back. THE PICK : REDSKINS TO WIN OUTRIGHT: 21-17

    1) Carolina Panthers (6-8) at New York Gigantors (8-6) (-8)- The Giants have been a great bully team under Coughlin. It seems to always bury teams it is better than. I know the Panthers club has played much better in recent weeks but I think it win over  Minnesota is more of a sign that it is on the verge of collapse. Funny aside, I saw a guy at the airport today who looked like a carbo copy of Childress. I almost asked him how he and Farve are getting along these days but was restrained by Ms. White Boy from doing so. Nevertheless, the G-men should be able to beat an inferior opponent who apparenlty will be without Williams at RB.  So if these picks go the way I hope/think they will, The Giants will only need a win by the white hot Eagles against the Bois in week 17 to assure itself a spot in the playoffs  GO EAGLES!! and now if you'll excuse me,  I"m going to throw up in our toilet that is oddly square shaped. THE PICK: GIGANTORS 31-21
