I'm not one to bash media types. Actually, I do I just can't do as well as some other blogs out there. Sometimes though, there are just truly awful things said that EVEN i must rag on.

PK offers his latest heap of boiling horse manure here. As always, there are his usual meaningless banter and rather obvious observations that makes PK's column one of my favorites to read when I want to spit out my coffee. But then he'll go out of his way to pull something out of left field to make it seem like he's in the know. Except the only know he has is that he knows shit.

This week was one of those occurences.

Peter King column's are like going to the dentist. Sure sometimes you know there is some pain involved in there but you can handle it. Then all of sudden he busts out the drill and goes to town on your meager teeth. Below is the quote that caused such anguish and discomfort for me. I spit out blood, yelled ow and cringed:

Upon further review, the unrestricted free-agency list is not so bad.

I wrote a few weeks ago that the UFA class of 2010 would be horrible, because it wouldn't include unsigned fourth- and fifth-year vets if the league and union don't have a new CBA done by March. But because of the rise of players like Aubrayo Franklin and the promise of interesting prospects like Brian St. Pierre, the list looks a little better now. Not good, but not as bad as it looked on Labor Day.

12. Brian St. Pierre, QB, Arizona. Someone might see him as 2010's Matt Cassel and go buy him for a fifth of the cost.

Brian St Pierre. He of the ONE career regular season pass attempt? The same Brian St. Pierre who spent his 2003 and 2004 season behind Tampon Tammy Maddox, Charlie Batch. The same Brian St. Pierre who finished 2004 with 0/1 passing and 5 rushes for -3. Yes that St. Pierre. Who better then to lavish with an 60 million dollar contract. Look unless your the Cleveland, you aren't going to sign for 6 million let alone 60. What the hell type of crap is this. The same man that's been cut more times then a gutter punk hipster is the 12th most intriguing free agent this year????????

And it's not like St. Pierre is still some younger player who should continue to get better with age. He'll be 30 years old in 3 weeks. This is his 7th season in the NFL, and he has accomplished absolutely nothing. Cassell actually showed some promise. St. Pierre of BC fame? Not so much.  Looks completely marginal in any opportunity he gets and average to terrible in preseason. He can barely hold a clipboard correctly!!!

I get it he's a writer and all and less of an analyst. But who the hell would bother saying something like that? Doesn't have CNNSI have an editor. I'm officially dumber for reading this statement.

Look even the biggest PK homers like Devo, can't excuse this shoddyness. Are you fucking kidding me??!?!!
